Cancer involves abnormal growth of cells that eventually invade other organs and spread to the other parts of the body. There are over 100 types of cells affecting human beings. Cancer has been linked to excessive tobacco use, alcohol consumption, eating a lot of processed foods, obesity, lack of exercise and poor diet. Not all, but a lot of cancers can be prevented by following a correct lifestyle comprising of a healthy diet of fruits, grains and vegetables, avoiding processed food and red meat and with vaccination against certain infections. Men and women above 60 should go for yearly screening of breast/prostrate to detect it early.
