Dr. Lata N. Bhoir
Dr. Lata Bhoir is an MBBS, MS in General Surgery from BJ Government Medical College, Pune and is serving at present as Associate Professor of Surgery at B J  Government Medical College, Pune. She is a member of the prestigious Association of surgeons of India (ASI) and Association of minimally access surgeons of India (AMASI). She has been awarded as a fellow in Hernia Surgeries from Hernia University. Though her area of interest of work is cancer and laparoscopic surgeries, she has also pursued a Postgraduate diploma degree in Geriatric Medicine from IGNOU. She is at present the Vice-chairperson of Geriatric Society of India Pune Chapter. She had received awards for her research work presentation at various conferences. Dr. Lata has an excellent academic profile and has been active in conducting various CMEs at different medical colleges of Pune. She is passionate about geriatric medicine and senior health care. She loves music and painting and has an inclination for comedy. When not working, she can be seen reading, travelling and exploring historical places.

Dr. Sandeep Tamane
Dr. Sandeep Tamane is an MBBS and MD (Medicine) from prestigious Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai, and is the Chairperson of Geriatric Society of India Pune Chapter. He has worked in UK from 1997-2003, gaining special training and expertise in Geriatric Medicine. He completed prestigious and internationally recognized MRCP – the post graduate diploma in Medicine, while working in UK. He is known for publishing several papers in national as well as international medical journals. With particular interest in senior health, Dr. Tamane is associated with Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital & Research Center as Consultant Physician and Geriatrician and is one of the top players in the category of General Physician Doctors in Pune since 2003. He has been a distinguished speaker at various events concerning elderly health, including 9th Congress of European Union Geriatric Medicine Society (EUGMS), held in Venice, Italy in 2013 and Annual National Conference of Association of Physicians of India (APICON) and Maharashtra Chapter of API (MAPCON).

Dr. Ankita Tikalkar:
Dr. Ankita Tikalkar is an MBBS graduate from BJ Government Medical College, Pune. She is currently serving a 1 year internship in Sassoon Government Hospital. She has been a regular participant of various medical workshops and seminars. She has also published a research paper on Pre-eclampsia. Apart from academics, she is a trekking enthusiast, having trekked the Himalayas throughout her MBBS course. She also loves painting, sketching and writing.

Dr Apurva Ketkar:
Dr. Apurva Ketkar, MBBS, is an intern serving at Sassoon General Hospital, Pune. She has successfully completed her medical training from BJ Government Medical College, Pune. Academically bright, Dr. Apurva has been a participant of medical workshops, seminars and quizzes. She is also currently working on a research survey on ‘Pediatric obesity’. Dr Apurva is a Bharatnatyam dancer and has been a regular performer at many dance festivals across the country.

Dr. Sailusha Vadapalli:
Dr. Sailusha Vadapalli, MBBS, is a graduate from BJ Government Medical College, Pune, currently serving a one year internship at Sassoon General Hospital, Pune. She has been a consistent performer in her academic career, securing distinctions in every year of the medical curriculum. She likes to keep herself updated with recent breakthroughs in medicine and is a regular participant in medical case presentations, debates, seminars and quizzes. Besides medicine, Dr. Vadapalli is a classical vocalist, training under eminent gurus since w very young age. She is a busy performing artiste in Pune.

Dr. Ketan Deshmukh
Dr. Ketan Deshmukh is an MBBS graduate from BJ Government Medical College, Pune. He is currently serving a 1 year internship in Sassoon Government Hospital. He has been a regular participant of various medical workshops, conferences and other co curricular activities. Apart from academics, he is drama artist and has directed several dramas. Ketan has also served as Cultural secretary of B J Medical College, Pune. He is currently the college representative of ASMI (Association of state Medical interns). He is an active participant of various social events. He has been a medical volunteer in Wari since the past 3 yers. Dr. Ketan is also the co-founder of LFU – Lift for Upliftment, an NGO working towards providing free entrance exam coaching to the needy students. He also loves poetry, trekking and writing.

Ankita Chobey

Ankita leads the content strategy and oversees a bright team of editors, writers, medical experts, and designers with an aim to create and curate the best-in-industry content that can help senior citizens as well as others in leading a healthy life. Prior to HappyAging, Ankita worked with Times of India’s Mumbai Mirror as a Chief Copy Editor for two years where she got to learn the dynamics of content and journalism. She has also worked in advertising, digital content marketing and IT industry.  Apart from work, Ankita loves music and can be seen working on her music videos with her own dedicated studio. Being close to elderly in her own family, Ankita chose to be a part of HappyAging’s core team to understand elderly health and care in a more comprehensive way.

After doing her MBA in Marketing, she learnt the tricks of trade in Companies like HDFC and Kotak Mahindra Bank. Her last stint was as the Regional Head- Sales for a financial firm in Mumbai. But her passion for writing always kept her restless. After freelancing for brands like MIT University, Information and Broadcasting Ministry of India and HDFC Life, she finally decided to go full time as a content writer and pursue her love for words. She has also been a guest columnist for a leading daily in central India and is an aspiring author. Her hobbies involve working out in the gym, reading and cooking.
